  • Choosing the right harp to begin your journey is very important! Most harpists start with a lever harp such as a Lyon and Healy Troubadour or Ogden, or a Dusty Strings Ravenna 34 or Crescendo 34. Adult students or students with prior musical experience might choose to start on pedal harp, such as a Lyon and Healy Style 85, or a Salvi Daphne.

    Be sure to consult a professional harpist before purchasing a harp!

  • Rental harps are available directly from harpmakers, such as Lyon and Healy, Salvi and Dusty Strings.

    Other vendors that sell and rent harps include Harps Etc. in Walnut Creek, Vanderbilt Music, and Virginia Harp Center.
